I am a storyteller and gardener living in Dallas, Texas with my rescue lab and my shoe-loving orange cat. A lifelong creative, I taught myself to write through collaborative avenues at a young age and have spent my life honing my storytelling skill not only as a hobbyist author but as a professional journalist, copyeditor and copywriter.

I believe there is a remarkable beauty in the human experience — from victories to defeats, from strengths to flaws. The human race is a miracle of nature, through and through, and stories are one of our species’ greatest assets. Every story told deserves truth, transparency, and as much dignity as possible, and I strive to make folks feel seen, heard, and understood in everything I create.

Most of all, writing is fun for me — it’s engaging, rewarding, and a good story has the capacity to change a life. When I’m not at my computer, transferring worlds from my mind to the page, I can be found outside in my garden, soaking up the sunshine, reading a historical biography or playing with my dog.
